Amidst the Coronavirus outbreak and concerns, we want to share an update on what Carpet Cops is doing to keep our customers and employees safe while providing our services.
Carpet Cops is closely monitoring the quickly changing developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the recommended responses to it. We want to assure all of you that Carpet Cops is committed to delivering high-quality professional cleaning services to your homes and businesses in a safe manner for both our clients and technicians.
Carpets Cops will continue to review guidelines and mandates from the World Health Organization, Federal, State, and Local Governments, and the CDC. While many have said that we cannot prevent the spread of the virus, maintaining a clean environment is recommended. We have added new protocols and additional products to follow the guidelines recommended by the CDC for cleaning porous surfaces (carpet, upholstery, fabrics) as well as cleaning hard surfaces (tile, stone, counters, touchpoints). We continue to use our environmentally friendly organic cleaning products.
Carpet Cops utilizes Fiberlock Technologies’ Shockwave, a trusted disinfectant for Coronavirus (COVID-19), backed by EPA’s List N. (#61178-1-73884). The Shockwave application requires a minimum of 10 minutes of dwell time, as specified by the manufacturer’s recommendation. Shockwave has been tested to kill Coronavirus at a rate of 99.99% effectively when applied to carpets, upholstery, stone and tile and grout!
As well as including Shockwave, our services also include hydrogen peroxide, another active ingredient backed by the EPA.
